Who are we?
Fempotential is a diverse community of women.
What do we do?
Our mission is to help other women reach their full potential in all aspects of their lives.
How do we do that?
We share our stories and experiences through blogs, how-to articles, photography, art, video, and creative works. These stories are then read by women around the world in the hopes that they inspire each and every girl and woman in some way.
What is the ultimate goal of fem+potential?
To inspire women to learn, take charge of their own lives, gain knowledge and independence, and to accomplish their dreams and goals. We want women to live richer lives and we believe that other women can help them do that.
Who is your audiences?
You, you, and you. Every woman regardless of age, race, class, identity, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
Anything else we need to know?
We can see the potential of women shining bright across the world and we want to show you those bright lights too.
Meet Founder and Editor-in-Chief, Alex Temblador:
Alex Temblador is the brain child of Fempotential. Soon after becoming a full-time freelancer in 2015, Alex realized that most of the content she was producing for clients didn’t seem to make a difference in anyone’s life, much less in the lives of women. However, it seemed that by sharing her personal stories on social media and on her personal blog, women were inspired to get over their fears, trying something new, and live richer lives (or so they told her).
With that in mind, she began to formulate Fempotential as she lie awake in bed at night when she should have been sleeping. And like with anything in Alex’s life, she was soon consumed with the idea and made a decision create this blogazine.
Calling upon writers, friends, and mentors she set forth to change the world by creating an online magazine whose sole intention was to show women that they could reach their full potential in different areas of their life, thus living more interesting, worthwhile, and fun lives.
Today Alex is still a full-time freelancer who lives in Dallas. She loves to write, read, travel, play sports, and hang with friends. Her goals are to be a published novelist and to build Fempotential into a full-time career.
